Pink Marri and camera upgrade

Spent two hours with this splash of pink flowers - Corymbia calophylla rosea (Pink Marri) 💗

I had a camera upgrade last week because I finally hit the limitations of my little mighty Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III - most of all, the inability to shoot tethered to the laptop (which is sooo handy in a studio)! As usual, I spent a hefty amount of time researching my options, and decided to go with a second hand E-M1X (plus a couple of pro lenses which was a nice addition).

Still getting used to its size and weight and contemplating whether it actually was a mistake 😆 It certainly is a pro camera (though still mirrorless), with two batteries and card slots, with duplicated buttons to shoot in portrait mode, tons of settings and functions… but will I use it all? Does it make that much of a difference? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Buyer’s remorse is my usual companion 😆
